Well the actual shakesphere story he actually is more just deformed and kind of a hunchback. In terms at the time Richard was listed a villain to the people. Most historians of the time would call him evil. The true story is that Richard was noted evil for the murderers of his nephews which actually even modernly is still uncertain if he actually did. In terms after Henry ruled after him he went from liked to disgraced by the people who formerly praised and like him.

Apparently Shakesphere had probably the "kindest" views of Richard as much as being inaccurate. Though you never know even what the original Shakesphere plays were actually like. Supposedly all his work went up in flames and his actors rewrote them. Many variations of them name "Shakesphere" was also written.So you never even know if the currently read Shakesphere plays were anything like the original. LoL. In terms from something I read Richard apparently was between various members of the crown getting killed before him and a lot of family members at that. For him he wasn't perfect supposedly but well respected until the never solved mystery of his nephews and Richard got crowned. Some of the history also apparently shows that they were friends not in a gay way like this anime but they didn't conflict with each other. Shakesphere however himself might've had relations with the Duke regardless having a wife and kid but that's a different story. LoL.

This episode just showed us that Richard is a woman that thinks like a man while Henry is a man kinda thinks like a little kid girl dude

hi, i beg to differ with this, because Richard is an intersexual biologically, and he identify himself as a man, so he is man. just because they both express feelings and emotions in this episode, it doesn't equate to them being a "woman" and "little kid girl", men can be emotional and have feelings too.

see this is problem, hate it when they adapt a manga into an anime but mess up big time, because it just gives people the idea that the story isn't really interesting, will def check out the manga.

Not dropping this either. It definitely feels like it's skipping a lot of info and the animation is lacking, but I am enjoying the overarching story being told. Think I'll watch this fully and then start the manga

i wished not all the characters would look like in their 20s or something, then it would maybe easier to accept that Henry (3x?) has a son Edward (14?) with his second-time-married-Wife (40?), while loving the third son Richard (17?) of Richard (40?) the 1st - and because it's anime the older characters are at least 10 years older as we expects, so the younger ones are 5 years younger than we expect.... i should look up the based-on story, thanks to Meroko Yui for the hints, at least the story is getting better by becoming more convoluted

Well to be fair most stories probably should. Until the past couple centuries it was even rare people lived long lives past 40. The invention of soap and developments in medical science helped a lot.
